Trust Centre

Cluboom is built for grassroots sport with security, safeguarding and privacy built into every layer of the platform. Our Trust Centre brings together our policies, security information and governance documentation in one place.

Overview

What Cluboom stands for

Four principles that shape how the platform is built, run and supported.

Built in the UK

Built specifically for grassroots sport in the United Kingdom.

Secure by Design

Security has been considered throughout the design of Cluboom including authentication, permissions, audit logging and secure infrastructure.

UK GDPR Focused

Cluboom has been designed to support clubs in managing personal information responsibly in line with UK GDPR principles.

Built for Grassroots Sport

Designed by people involved in grassroots sport for clubs, coaches, volunteers, parents and players.

Security

Security

How Cluboom protects club information, and where to read the detail.

Secure by Design

Permissions are enforced by the platform itself rather than by the interface alone, so people only reach the information their role allows. Coaches see their teams, parents see their own children, and committee members see what their position requires.

Connections are encrypted in transit, sensitive administrative actions are logged, and new features are reviewed against the same access rules before they are released.

Authentication & Account Security

Club officials, coaches and parents sign in with their own individual account. Access is granted through invitations issued by the club rather than open public sign-up.

Young players use a separate, simplified route: a team code, their name and a personal PIN. That keeps shared family and club devices usable without exposing an adult account, and a profile can be removed from a device at any time.

Safeguarding

Safeguarding

Cluboom supports clubs with safer administration. Clubs remain the safeguarding authority for their members.

Child Protection

Information about children is only visible to the people who need it: their own parents or guardians, and the staff responsible for their team. Parent accounts cannot see other families, and contact details are never broadcast across the club.

Clubs stay responsible for safer recruitment, supervision and their own safeguarding policy. Cluboom provides the structured records, controlled communication and audit trail that support it.

Reporting Concerns

If a child or vulnerable adult is in immediate danger, contact the emergency services on 999.

Non-urgent safeguarding concerns should go to your club's safeguarding or welfare officer and, where required, to the relevant statutory body or governing body.

Misuse of the Cluboom platform — unauthorised account access or inappropriate content uploaded through the service — can be reported to support@cluboom.co.uk. Cluboom support is not a safeguarding-reporting or emergency service.
