This Cookie Policy explains how Cluboom uses cookies and similar browser-storage technologies. It applies to the Cluboom marketing website and, where indicated, to the Cluboom application.
1. Our approach to cookies
We aim to use as little browser storage as possible. Essential storage operates where necessary to provide the service. Non-essential technologies, such as analytics, are only activated after affirmative consent through our consent banner.
You can reject non-essential technologies at any time, and change your choice through the “Cookie settings” link in the site footer — continuing to browse is not treated as consent.
2. What we currently use
The following browser-storage technologies are currently in use on the Cluboom site and application. All of these are essential or functional storage; no third-party analytics, advertising or tag-management tools are loaded on the public marketing site at the time this policy was published.
Consent record
- cluboom.cookie-consent.v1 — localStorage entry that remembers your consent choice on this device so we do not ask again on every page load.
Authentication and session (application)
- Session tokens issued by our authentication provider (stored in browser storage) so signed-in users remain signed in between requests. These are strictly necessary for the application to function once you sign in.
Application preferences (application)
- Small localStorage entries used to remember, for example, the user’s active club, saved dashboard state, invitation return paths and device-bound player identifiers. These are functional and used only to make the service work as intended.
Analytics
No analytics or advertising cookies are currently active on the marketing site. If we introduce analytics in the future, they will only run after you have opted in through the consent banner or preferences panel.
3. Third-party services
The Cluboom application uses supplier services to provide core functionality (for example database, authentication and transactional email). Where those suppliers set any browser storage, it is limited to what is necessary to operate that feature — see our Privacy Policy for how supplier data-sharing is handled.
4. Managing your choice
You can review and change your consent choice at any time using the button below, or from the “Cookie settings” link in the site footer.
You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking essential storage may prevent parts of the service from working as expected.
